Do you want to play a vital role in SSI Schaefers continued success as Senior Sales Manager in Denmark and Norway? Are you able to have a strategic overview in a tactical position?


As Senior Sales Manager you will work independently and drive the complete sales process in your districts (at the moment primarily Denmark) coordinate of account management in sales phase and buying center management. The projects are in existing buildings, extensions, or greenfield projects offering market leading technology solutions using shuttle, miniload, and automatic case picking systems as well as high bay warehouse pallet cranes, warehouse management systems and service and maintenance concepts.

As Senior Sales Manager you will manage and maintain contacts with clients, consultants and existing customers, gathering and analyzing customer data and customer-specific requirements as well as carrying out project qualifications, holding negotiations, market watch and analysis.

Furthermore,

  • Pricing and pre-contract negotiations in cooperation with your colleagues and the Sales Director

  • Making project sales, typically with a timeframe of 6 to 24 months

  • Maintain connection with old and new customers through visits

  • Lead generation

  • Account and buying center analysis; observation and assessment of competitors and their technical development (opportunities, risks, etc.)

  • Active participation in trade fairs, congresses, events, etc.

  • Marked development and penetration

Key responsibilities:

Customer handling:

  • Contact existing and new customers

  • Analyze customer needs

  • Generate solutions and presentations

  • Presenting and discussing concepts and/or final solutions/layouts

  • Participating in coordination meetings with the customer

  • Coordinating the team entrusted with handling the quotation

  • Carrying out all relevant entries in CRM (Salesforce)

  • Providing customers with quotations

  • Developing sales strategies on account on project level

Cooperating with Pre-sales:

  • Deciding on budget price

  • Coordination of all work packages within a sales project

  • Developing complete information from customer and cooperate with Pre-sales

  • Make sure that the quote fulfills the customer requirements and the desired quality

  • Preparing all necessary documents for evaluation / handover

  • Price management

  • Deciding on Bid or No-Bid together with Sales Director

  • Negotiate the price, so both parties are satisfied

Cooperating with project department:

  • Handover to the project department for execution







Required qualifications:

  • A relevant education and minimum 10 years of experience in complex project sales

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation logistics

  • Good knowledge og logistics processes and strategies in warehouse management

  • Good knowledge of intra-logistics and solutions

  • Very experienced in negotiations and contract closing

  • Good understanding in business and economics

  • Good presentations skills

  • Speaks and writes fluent English – Danish and/or Norwegian will be an advantage

Personality:

You are highly motivated by results and have a good drive. You can work independently (but are a team player). You have very good social skills and are motivated to meet new people. You have a good sense of humor. You have ambitions / wishes to learn and develop.

You have the opportunity to travel approx. 60 – 80 days a year.
