For our Australia/New Zealand operation and based at one of our Sydney based client sites, we are looking for a new team member, Reliability Leader & Spare Parts Controller, for our Customer Service team, with the following duties and responsibilities:

Your role:

  • Ensure parts are available in a timely manner

  • Ensure part are ordered in accordance with replenishment reports

  • Raise Purchase orders

  • Follow up on Purchase orders

  • Preparing Monthly spare parts usage bill.

  • Stock take- Fortnightly and Monthly

  • Negotiate with suppliers for better rates

  • Work with CI & RM team for any new and upgrade projects.

  • Data Analysis skills- parts usage trends/Machines performances

Your profile:

  • Experience within a technical environment will be highly regarded.

  • Ability to read and interpret Mechanical Drawings

  • A strong team player

  • A willingness to learn and high attention to details

  • Strong computer skills

  • Intermediates excel skills

  • Forklift license or willing to get one.

  • As required consult with interested parties, including other workers, client representatives relevant to your position for the implementation and continuous improvement of safety processes.

  • As for all SSI SCHAEFER personnel, you have the authority to stop work to correct a safety opportunity by consulting with your supervisor/manager

  • Ensure that you understand the possible environmental impacts your position could have and that mitigation processes have been considered and implemented.

Skills:

  • Working with WAMAS Maintenance Center (SSI CMMS) - computerised Maintenance Management system

  • Previous experience in a procurement environment is preferred but not essential

Educational Qualifications:

  • Trade Qualification preferred

  • Procurement qualification preferred, not essential.
