We are now looking for Software Project and Integration Manager to join our dynamic team in Australia & New Zealand.

The Software Project and Integration Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the software projects both standalone and in conjunction with the automation.

Your role:

  • Overall project management of SW projects for new and existing customers

  • Responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of the project within the software scope of works

  • Overall solution integration management during site commissioning and ramp-up

  • Lead workshops with the customers to define business requirements

  • Be up-to-date with best-practice processes within the logistics industry

  • Provide sales consultancy on software solutions including quotes and best practice processes

  • Provide availability after hours for project-related work during commissioning, integration and ramp-up

  • Generate quality user documentation as required within the project realisation process

  • Participate in commissioning and testing at customer sites as required

  • As defined in SSI-SCHAEFER IT Project Manager / Lead Logistics Consultant / Quality Assurance Manager/ IT Sales Consultant role descriptions (attached)

  • The role may require to travel within APAC-MEA region to perform project-related work.

Work Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • As far as is Reasonably Practicable comply with relevant statutory and legal requirements.

  • Maintain a safe working environment ensuring that your actions do not put yourself or your co-workers in harm’s way.

  • Co-operate with SSI SCHAEFER policies, procedures and instructions.

  • Assist SSI SCHAEFER to improve the Work Health & Safety system by providing feedback including timely reporting of hazards, incidents and injuries via business reporting processes.

  • As for all SSI SCHAEFER personnel, you have the authority to stop work to correct a safety opportunity by consulting with your supervisor/manager

  • Ensure that all environmental impacts have been considered and mitigation processes have been implemented

Has at least a knowledge and experience in the following:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a complex project environment

  • Basic Logistic / Material Handling knowledge

  • Strong project management (Waterfall, Agile)

  • Advanced customer management skills

  • Cost management

  • Supplier management

  • Quality process

  • Strong project documentation skills

  • Project Management certification

  • Supply chain certification

  • SSI-SCHAEFER products know-how

Skills:

  • Complex project management environment

  • Knowledge of warehouse management processes

  • Know-how of industry-specific warehouse practices and regulations such as GAMP for Pharmaceuticals, Track-and-trace requirements, F&B specifics, etc

  • Waterfall / Agile methodologies

  • QA process

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Data analysis and query writing (SQL)

  • Understanding of testing methodologies

Educational Qualifications:

  • Computer Science degree or Programming qualifications

  • Project Management course

  • Fluent in written and oral English

  • Strong communication skills
