As a strategic-level role, the Senior Resident Maintenance Service Account Manager has commercial and contractual responsibility of the RM account and is line manager for the RM Engineering Manager / Site Manager. Holds the senior relationship with the customer and is initial point of escalation off site. The role is not site based and can hold multiple site responsibility
Assisting the Head of Resident Maintenance in the delivery of Schaefer Maintenance Philosophy at our Business partner’s sites.
Overall Technical responsibility for operational excellence in the delivery of RM Services and satisfaction of our Business Partner(s).
The main point of contact and person directly responsible for the overall successful relationship with the Business Partner.
Ensuring that SSI-UK continues to meet or exceeds all the business needs and requirements for all RM Service Provisions.
Full commercial responsible and for the overall management of the RM Portfolio through the whole life cycle; for all “business as usual” as well as for escalations
Full contract understanding and contract ownership this including: initial contract negotiation and agreement, ongoing adjustments (Change Requests) and overall compliance.
RM site start up, hire of the RM Engineering / Site Manager / Engineering Supervisor, delivery of the site “Start-up” project plan to meet milestone and financial obligations in line with SMP.
Delivery of the Life Cycle Plan (LCP) for individual RM sites through the site management. Ensuring that they are effectively communicated to the customer and delivered in line with customer agreements.
Ensure full compliance with Schaefer Maintenance Philosophy (SMP), promoting and auditing as required.
Handles escalation as required to drive for customer satisfaction where possible.
Ensure that the site is handed over from the project phase in compliance with the HOPS process. To realise the required RM contractual SLA
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + Car Allowance.
Full time role – 37.5 hours
08:30 to 16:45 Mon – Thurs and 08:30 – 15:30 on Friday

HNC / Degree level Engineering background. (BSc / BEng / MEng/ MSc)
Knowledge of IT (WMS / WCS / PLC) - ITIL Foundation Minimum requirement
