Britta Heidemann is Olympic Fencing Champion of the Beijing 2008 Games as well as World and European Champion. With more than 20 international medals she is one of the most decorated fencers of all times. Besides her sports career, Britta Heidemann is a China expert. Having majored in Chinese studies and business administration, she accompanies delegations to China and is a speaker at company events, discussion panels or talk shows. Also, Britta Heidemann is highly engaged in sports development. Amongst others, she is an elected member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), official ambassador of Germany for „Development through Sport“ and a member of the board of the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB).
