Spare parts orders can be placed again as usual
E-mail communication now also available again almost across the board
In April, SSI SCHAEFER was the victim of a cyber incident, which was, however, largely averted. Thanks to an effective security infrastructure and continuous monitoring, the incident was detected at an early stage and all network connections between the locations of the group of companies as well as all traffic via the Internet were blocked at that time. This quick response meant that it was possible to prevent SSI SCHAEFER's systems from being encrypted. In this way, customer data and connections to customer systems were successfully protected from unauthorized third parties.
Most of SSI SCHAEFER's customer-relevant systems and platforms are now running normally again. This means that for the most part it is possible to supply projects on time and in full or to support customers with services of all kinds. Here is an overview:
Customers can place orders as usual via the spare parts webshop and they will be processed immediately.
The employees of SSI SCHAEFER can be reached by e-mail again almost everywhere.
Customer service is available without restriction via the service hotline and also by e-mail.
A wide range of information on products, solutions and services of all kinds can be accessed as usual via the local company websites of the SSI SCHAEFER Group.
A secure IT environment has been established and many VPN connections to customer installations have already been resumed, with more to follow gradually.
The production sites produce and deliver.
