IFOY award ceremony at transport logistic
SSI SCHAEFER and partner IDENTYTEC have been nominated for the International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award for their innovative automated driverless delivery (ADD) solution for fully automated replenishment based on AGVs. The end-to-end system for light and heavy load containers significantly increases automation and flexibility in manufacturing and warehousing. The nominees completed the IFOY Test and Innovation Check over the course of a week in March in the city of Munich. The winners will be selected on the basis of system performance, innovativeness, ergonomics and safety; they will be announced at an award ceremony on 9th May at transport logistic 2017.
