3D-MATRIX SOLUTION® - Storage, buffering and sequencing in one system
In case of higher performance requirements, the shuttle picking warehouse can be designed using the 3D-Matrix Solution®: The 3D-Matrix is a highly dynamic solution that enables storage, buffering and sequencing in one system. By directly integrating lifts into the aisles front-side bottlenecks at the transfer stations and therefore the restrictions of conventional solutions are eliminated. Simultaneously, this enables decoupled processes along three warehouse axes. The Matrix consists of three key system components: shuttle vehicles, liftsand conveying systems. All storage locations in the shuttle warehouse can supply every picking station. Moreover, the narrow pre-zone saves plenty of space, meaning that logistics areas can be used efficiently.
