SSI SCHAEFER provides a holistic service concept at Coop in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Two Resident Maintenance teams with around 80 employees carry out mechanical maintenance and provide technical and IT support on site – supported by global remote support. The goal is to avoid downtimes, secure processes and ensure maximum system availability – an essential building block for stable, sustainable supply chains.

Cyber security without system downtime

With the Active Patching approach, SSI SCHAEFER takes IT security at Coop to a new level: Security updates for over 140 servers are installed continuously, automatically and almost without interruption. This allows weak points to be quickly eliminated and risks to be avoided – with consistently high system availability. The approach is complemented by duplicate hardware, isolated test systems and real-time monitoring.
