Customer Information: IT Security Incident

Dear Sir or Madam,

The SSI SCHÄFER Group has resolved a security incident that was detected on May 21, 2026, and is returning to normal. The incident exclusively affected our internal IT infrastructure.

Internal expert teams worked together with external cybersecurity and forensic specialists to analyze and investigate the incident. The SSI SCHÄFER Group is pleased to announce that the incident has been resolved.

Comprehensive security measures were implemented immediately after the incident was identified. These included the isolation of affected systems within our internal IT infrastructure as well as the precautionary temporary restriction of selected communication connections. Our highest priority was to minimize potential risks and ensure the security of our systems, locations, and customer connections.

For security reasons, our customer environments and customer connections are technically and architecturally strictly separated from our internal IT infrastructure. We would like to emphasize that there is no evidence that the incident spread to customer networks or affected systems operated within customer environments. This also applies to maintenance systems, support workstations, employee endpoints, and any other devices used for customer-related activities.

Our business operations remained stable. In isolated cases, the comprehensive security measures implemented may have temporarily resulted in delays to local support and service activities.

SSI SCHÄFER continuously develops and optimizes its security measures in order to further strengthen the protection of its systems. Returning to normal operations now means that we can once again fully focus on the needs of our customers.
