We’re seeking a pragmatic, capable Senior HR Advisor who is confident moving between HR administration, operational partnering, and strategic projects - sometimes all in the same day! You will need to influence managers, navigate ambiguity, and deliver outcomes in a fast-evolving environment.
This is a role where you can genuinely shape a function, support meaningful change and help build practical, effective HR processes across Australia and New Zealand.

What you’ll be doing
A genuinely varied HR role, including:
HR partnering & ER
Advising on performance, conduct, Award matters, and policy
Guiding managers through low- to medium-risk ER matters
Supporting consistent and compliant people practices
Recruitment & workforce planning
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment across operational and corporate roles
Leading project-based recruitment for new contracts or scale-ups
Contributing to workforce development initiatives, including early-career pathways and capability programs.
Projects & system implementation
Acting as operational lead for our HRIS/Payroll system implementation
Supporting data migration, testing, documentation, and user support
Training managers and employees post go-live
Payroll continuity & data integrity
Supporting payroll processing during leave/peak periods
Ensuring accurate data, validation and Award interpretation
RTW, compliance & visas
Coordinating Return to Work programs
Managing visa sponsor obligations and documentation
Utilising HR and payroll data to produce meaningful reports, insights and compliance documentation.
HR that keeps the wheels turning
Supporting accurate HR documentation and processes across the full employee lifecycle
Maintaining HR registers and records
Contributing to continuous improvement across all HR processes

You’re a self-starter who:
Moves easily between admin, operational HR and project work
Handles ambiguity and change with confidence and composure
Has excellent knowledge of employment legislation and is comfortable interpreting Awards
Brings structure and discipline to evolving processes
Builds trust and credibility at every level
Is commercially aware and can link HR outcomes to operational and business needs.

What You’ll Bring
Expert knowledge of employment legislation (Fair Work, NES, Modern Awards)
Strong understanding of WHS and RTW obligations
Experience in HRIS/payroll transitions or implementations
5+ years’ broad HR generalist experience in operational or technical environments
Experience across recruitment, RTW, visas and compliance reporting (e.g., WGEA)
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, evolving environments
Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
Strong organisation, attention to detail and a practical mindset
Desirable
Relevant tertiary qualification
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
Experience in apprenticeships or workforce development programs
Mental health first aid
Driver’s licence
