The main stand in hall 1 focuses on green logistics and solutions for manual, semi-automated and fully automated order picking for fast order processing. Sustainable intralogistics ranges from the construction and project phase to green crane/shuttle technology, green conveyor technology, predictive maintenance concepts along with the full product portfolio of returnable containers. In the field of robotics, SSI SCHAEFER offers one of the broadest portfolios on the market. Robotics applications perform a wide variety of tasks and can be integrated into material handling flows. In hall 1, SSI Schaefer demonstrates a highly dynamic solution for efficient piece picking.
The pouch sorter SSI Carrier, a multifunctional and scalable overhead conveying system for e-commerce and omni-channel distribution, will also be presented in Hall 1. With the SSI Carrier, the continuously changing mixture of larger retail orders and smaller direct online orders, as it is for example the case in the fashion industry, can be processed efficiently.
For many logistics operators, the optimization of process chains is an important concern. In hall 1, SSI SCHAEFER will present intelligent systems for storage and order picking that guarantee efficient processes along with using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated systems. Each system has a modular design that is flexible and easily assembles to form individual customer applications but also scale to adapt for future market and company growth.
The LOGIMAT® Vertical Lift Module will also be on display at the LogiMat 2020. As a small parts storage and picking solution, the storage lift operates as an autonomous system or can integrate directly into SAP as a plug&play solution. Additional software integration also connects to higher-level ERP systems using the WAMAS® LOGIMAT software.
