Toolmaker in stamping and forming technology (M/F/D)

As a Toolmaker Punching and Forming Technology, you manufacture punching tools and bending devices for our production and repair and maintain them.

There are different tools for different products, often weighing many tons. These are clamped into the machines. Extreme precision is essential in this process.

As a toolmaker for stamping and forming technology, you process metals by drilling, milling, turning, grinding or filing, among other things. In doing so, you adhere precisely to the dimensions specified in the technical drawings. You use measuring and testing equipment to check the workpieces down to thousandths of a millimeter. You also work with computer-controlled machine tools, which you program yourself. You assemble individual parts into complete tools and test them for correct function. You also maintain and repair damaged or worn tools.

Training as a toolmaker for stamping and forming technology (M/F/D) takes 3.5 years.
