The all-in-one solution

With the successful implementation of WAMAS Core WMS, Georg Jos. Kaes GmbH, operator of the V-Markt retail chain, has taken a significant step towards the digitalization of its warehouse processes. Thanks to its highly standardized approach, the software system covers all warehouse processes: from goods receipt to goods issue, it ensures maximum transparency and efficiency.

Gradual implementation of the logistics software

The migration to WAMAS Core WMS took place segment by segment across the 55,000 m² warehouse area. The first rollout began in the frozen food section – a segment with a lower turnover rate. Subsequently, further product categories were migrated step by step – from fresh produce and drugstore items to non-food items. This enabled implementation without interrupting ongoing operations and whilst ensuring stable supplies to the 62 stores in southern Germany.

Future-proof processes, greater transparency and fewer errors

The success of the new solution is already evident: processes are more transparent, picking errors have been reduced and order turnaround times have been significantly shortened. At the same time, WAMAS Core WMS offers the necessary scalability to optimally support future growth. Regular updates and high system availability ensure the long-term reliability of processes.
