Data Collection per Edge Device

We carry out comprehensive condition-based monitoring to provide a transparent overview of the condition of your system. Relevant data is collected directly from your machines. To transfer these to our WAMAS Maintenance Center for further processing, we use an edge device (Siemens Nanobox) in the control cabinet. This is connected to both the control system and the cloud.

Our edge device meets the highest IT security standards and is compatible not only with all SSI SCHAEFER products, but also with hardware from third-party suppliers. The device can be installed quickly and easily via plug-and-play – during operation, without bringing the system to a standstill.

As a rule, one device per system is sufficient to collect relevant usage data on a control level. Depending on the number of components installed in the system, the quantity may increase.
