Customer Information: IT Security Incident
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are currently investigating a security incident within our IT infrastructure.
Following the detection of irregularities within certain internal IT systems at one of our sites, we immediately initiated comprehensive precautionary measures. These include the isolation of the affected systems as well as the temporary restriction of related communication connections.
For security reasons, our customer maintenance environments are technically fully separated from our internal IT environment. Therefore, we have no indication of any compromise of these maintenance environments. Likewise, there is no evidence of any compromise of the supplier connections or our employees’ end devices.
Our business operations are largely stable. However, due to our comprehensive and far-reaching security measures, there may be temporary delays in certain local support and service activities in isolated cases.
Our expert team is working with the highest priority on a detailed analysis. Our robust IT security architecture enables us to always maintain up-to-date and globally transparent monitoring. We expect to gradually ease the precautionary measures soon. Naturally, we will keep you informed in a transparent and timely manner of any relevant developments.
