Innovative technologies and personal exchange took center stage at the customer event “SSI Insight,” where SSI SCHAEFER opened its doors at the Giebelstadt site on May 20 and 22, 2025. Around 150 international customers attended across both days, experiencing first-hand the comprehensive logistics expertise of the intralogistics specialist. In a series of engaging presentations, experts demonstrated how small and medium-sized enterprises can implement automation and digitalization step by step – from scalable entry-level investments to fully automated warehouse logistics. The sessions clearly highlighted the enormous potential that can be unlocked incrementally.
At the Technology Center, visitors experienced live demonstrations of smart robotic applications, ergonomic vertical lift modules, efficient shuttle and overhead conveyor systems, and sustainable solutions for a wide range of industries and company sizes – all controlled by scalable WAMAS and SAP software. A standout highlight of the event was the exclusive live demonstration of the FastBots Solution, which impressively showcased how powerful automation is possible without fixed conveyor systems – flexible, scalable, and intelligently connected. A real step forward for dynamic logistics environments and a groundbreaking move toward the future.
